Protect the Gems!

Space bats stole your of gems! Get as many of them back as you can!

This project was for a university course. Mainly to experiement with object oriented programming, these were things like, inheritance, polymorphism and encapsulation.

It is a simple side scrolling shoot 'em up game. You you control a space ship and fight a swarm of space bats to get your gems back. Try to get as many as you can before you run out of lives.  It's endless so go for the high score!

Controls

Use the mouse to move the ship.

Left mouse to fire a bullet.

Right mouse to fire a laser.

Left control to use a cloak.

Escape to pause the game.
